Ragley Hall
Ragley Hall is the family home of the 9th Marquess and Marchioness of Hertford and their children. This magnificent Hall is located at the heart of the Ragley Estate in Warwickshire, one of the Midlands’s most beautiful counties.
The original Ragley Estate dates back to 1680 and occupies170 hectares of parkland which were designed by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown during the 18th century. Little is known about the gardens prior to 1873 until garden designer and outstanding horticulturist Robert Marnock enclosed the present 10 hectares as pleasure grounds, planting trees and shrubs around meandering pathways and created a formal Victorian flower garden on the west side of the Hall. Within the formal garden areas Rite-Edge has been used to create a clear definition between gardens and pathways. The versatility of Rite-Edge enabled corners, curves, bends and straight edges to be achieved with the minimum of effort complementing what a truly wonderful garden.
Designed by landscape architects, our multi-award winning RITE-EDGE is increasingly specified in professional landscape designs as the obvious edge for lawns, borders, beds and pathways alike, keeping that pristine neat garden appearance with perfect straight, corners and enviable curves and shapes. Held securely in place with barbed fixing stakes, RITE-EDGE is manufactured from an Aircraft Grade Aluminium Alloy designed to last at least 27 years, so no painting, staining, rusting or replacing to worry about. RITE EDGE, being light and easy to handle, comes in long lengths and has a unique, telescopic design to make installation very neat, quick and easy. The profile of RITE-EDGE features a smooth round top edge, so no sharp edges to cut you or damage the lawn mower blades, and a castellated body which gives maximum strength for heavy lawn mowers and prevents lifting by frost. Stand back with pride and admire that permanent “Just-Edged” look without all those hours of back-breaking edging spade and shear work.
